SnoPlanks is a Bend local snowboard company. They have been around for over a decade but just recently was gifted to OSU Cascades to be turned into a student-run for-profit business.

Over the last two years, I have been apart of the product team. I was on the first team to get hired and because of that, my coworkers and I had to figure out everything from scratch. With the help from our faculty, we were able to get connected with a manufacturer and have boards for sale our first year.

As I have been on the product team for two years, I have gained a strong understanding of what it takes to design and manufacture a snowboard. I have been head of design for board shape and core profile this last year and have learned a lot.
